Island duplex - Side A only. Our home is great for both beach & AMI lovers who don't mind not having a pool. The unit is a 2-bedroom-2 full bath, and walkable to the beach (3 blocks), Holmes Beach city center restaurants, bars, and shops (3 blocks), and the free island trolley (1 block). Anna Maria Island is roughly 7 miles long and, crazily enough, divided into 3 cities: Bradenton Beach, Holmes Beach & Anna Maria; Holmes Beach is central.
The space
We are now renting Side A of our duplex. This was the side we lived in for the past 9 years, so there are very few reviews. Right now, I have the rental period set for Friday-Friday, but if you prefer a different 7-day block, just let me know and I will adjust the settings. I can only do Saturday-Saturday due to my cleaning lady's availability.
Side A is a 2-bed-2-bath unit just off Gulf Dr and is roughly 800SF. The unit consists of 2 bedrooms with/ queen beds & TVs, 2 full baths, a living room, a kitchen, and an outdoor patio with/ pergola, seating, ceiling fans & a gas BBQ. The kitchen is stocked with dinnerware, cookware, a Keurig coffee maker, a toaster, a blender, etc. Upon arrival, the beds will be made with fresh linens and the bathrooms will have fresh towels, soap & toilet paper.

June-13 2024We loved our time at Carrie’s place. Short 5 min walk to a beautiful, relatively un-crowded beach. We rented the whole home (sides an and b) and shared it with another family, which gave us privacy but lots of shared space. Ideal for this type of scenario. Carrie’s prior tenants left a mess but Carrie and her cleaning staff intercepted them to be sure we weren’t impacted, and were very attentive to us to make sure we had what we needed. The pool is absolutely beautiful—as is the outdoor shower and the many patios and lovely seating areas outside. Appreciated that the kitchens were both well stocked and the big side has a second refrigerator. Many wonderful touches. Highly recommend.

The airbnb is not only beautiful but the location is perfect, it is such a short walk to the beach! I had several questions for Carrie before and during our stay that she quickly answered! This is one of our new favorite places! We can’t wait to go back!!

Took it to the beach, restaurants, cute shops. Most things were within walking distance or less than 10 minutes by cart/car. The house had everything we needed, clean and well decorated. We will definitely be back.
