We loved our time at Carrie’s place. Short 5 min walk to a beautiful, relatively un-crowded beach. We rented the whole home (sides an and b) and shared it with another family, which gave us privacy but lots of shared space. Ideal for this type of scenario. Carrie’s prior tenants left a mess but Carrie and her cleaning staff intercepted them to be sure we weren’t impacted, and were very attentive to us to make sure we had what we needed. The pool is absolutely beautiful—as is the outdoor shower and the many patios and lovely seating areas outside. Appreciated that the kitchens were both well stocked and the big side has a second refrigerator. Many wonderful touches. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Carrie's place on AMI. Location was great. You can walk to several restaurants and shops, which is a big plus. The apartment had everything we needed. We had a couple of inquires and Carrie responded promptly. Highly recommended. Would stay there again.

I have always been hesitant about staying at an airbnb but Carrie made the experience so easy and comforting! Everything about our stay was wonderful! The airbnb is not only beautiful but the location is perfect, it is such a short walk to the beach! I had several questions for Carrie before and during our stay that she quickly answered! This is one of our new favorite places! We can’t wait to go back!!

Carries place was at a great location as you enter town. Super close to the beach entrance. We rented a golf cart for the week, which I highly recommend. Took it to the beach, restaurants, cute shops. Most things were within walking distance or less than 10 minutes by cart/car. The house had everything we needed, clean and well decorated. We will definitely be back.

We rented both sides of the duplex and shared the whole home with another family. This was a perfect set up—we all found private spaces (3 well-appointed outdoor patios and numerous sitting areas,) while enjoying the spacious pool area together. Both kitchens are well-stocked with all the basics to cook and entertain at home. The kids appreciated the generously stocked pool shed! Carrie communicated well, was helpful and thoughtful, and made our stay comfortable and effortless. When the previous tenants had left some damage, she was proactive to let us know and had replacement items shipped overnight so we weren’t inconvenienced in the least. Note that the pool side of the home is adjacent to Gulf Drive which is a busy road, but we did not notice any road noise inside, and the privacy fence blocked sound and sight well, so the road was not a problem, even sitting out by the pool. Overall, we would highly recommend Carrie’s place.

Carrie and her husband were outstanding! We were to arrive the day after a hurricane blew through. We couldn’t arrive the day we were supposed to due to the island being under a mandatory evacuation order. She was great to adjust our rate. The house was clean and the outdoor space in outstanding condition even though the storm had just blown through. Beds were comfy, has washer and dryer, televisions in bedrooms and living room and everything needed for a great vacation. We really enjoyed the private pool. Trolley stop is just a few feet away from the house. The only negative is that it is on the busy main road. Not a big deal as we just got used to it pretty quickly. We will certainly be back!

Carrie’s place was so great, exactly as pictured. The pool is the icing on the cake - such a great place to relax after long days of beach and exploring. AMI has some great restaurants but with a family as large as ours, we ate most of our meals at home - the grill was great and the kitchen is fully equipped with literally everything you would need. The house was clean, nicely decorated and had plenty of space for our family of 7. Our 5 opinionated teenagers LOVED the house and have already asked if we are going back next year! Easy walk to the beach, easy to drive all around the island. 10/10 would recommend!

This was the second time we stayed here (and already booked for next year), and its just perfect. Private, heated pool. Youd think youre far from everything, but right there next to the main road. Can walk to a lot of places.

We had a great vacation! Carrie was easy to work with and responded quickly to my questions. This home fit our family of 9 great. Beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels and the kitchen was furnished with many extras. ( wish we would have checked supplies before we went grocery shopping.). The home is close to the beach and shopping. We loved the pool and private yard. The house is on the main road, but wasn’t an issue for us. Hope to come back to this home again.

The home is just like in the photos. It is a very nice house with a large pool and plenty of space to relax. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The beds are comfortable. It has an outdoor shower. You can easily walk to the beach or to Manatee Public Beach, which is not far away by car or free bus. The contact with Carrie was also great, she responds quickly and is helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much and would always choose this house again.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Carrie’s house. It was clean, beds slept great, nicely decorated, stocked with everything you could want or need for the pool and beach, and it was just a quick walk or drive to the beach depending on where you wanted to access it. The pool was perfect after a day in the sun and very pretty at night. Highly recommend!

This place was great! We didn't get to take our grandchildren but it would have worked great for children. It had basically everything we needed. The location was great, close enough to walk to the beach. The pool was amazing! It was just as it was described.

We had an amazing experience staying here! The place was spotless, nicely decorated, and exactly as described—if not better. The host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and made check-in super easy. The location was perfect: close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The private pool was fantastic. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space, which made it feel like home. Fresh linens/towels, comfortable bedding and so many amenities. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Anna Maria Island, Holmes Beach area!

A gracious host and excellent communicator. A lovely home, spacious, comfortable, charming, with well-appointed hang-out areas inside and out. Just far enough out of town for complete privacy, but close enough to access parks, restaurants, and colleges. Our party had gathered for a college reunion event, and the home and setting were perfect.

We had a really great time and were able to celebrate an early Thanksgiving with family in the area. The whole space was relaxing for the entire family, everyone had an area that worked for them. The space is next to a main road, but it really isn't that bad and there is a circular driveway to turn around instead of backing out. The kids had fun in yard playing with the tree swing. I would definitely stay here again.

Rented this home for family visiting for a graduation and it was great! Beautiful location, about 10-15 minutes from everywhere we needed to go, and a large dining room where we could fit everyone for dinner. It rained the whole weekend otherwise we definitely would have been out in the yard more. But the porch is beautiful in all weather.

Spacious and beautiful old home. Very tastefully decorated. We had a family gathering here and it was an excellent space for us all to hang out together. There was also plenty of space for us to spread out. There were a few problems that popped up during our stay (appliance malfunction), but Anne was very responsive. Even though the problems could not be fixed during our stay, we were appreciative of her response and efforts to correct the situation. We also appreciated that dogs are allowed.

This house was well appointed and the decor was perfect. Every room had its own character. Delightful, comfy and beautiful! I’ve extremely picky and detail oriented, and I was impressed; no, blown away! It was also clean, well stocked and devoid of critters. I don’t think they missed a thing. It was a perfect place for me to enjoy my birthday weekend w/ a small group of friends. Every one of my guests complimented the home. There aren’t enough kind words to express my thanks and gratitude!

Perfect spot for large family gathering. T the house is large and lovely!! We were a group of 9 people and there lots of places for us to gather- the lovely porch, the beautiful dining table and the cozy living room. The bedrooms were super comfortable as well. There was ample room for privacy too. Every day we headed out to boating, hiking, wine tasting and excursions into town and the wonderful farmer’s market. Every evening we cooked and relaxed: playing a game, working on a puzzle, watching the Olympics on the super large TV. The only suggestions for feedback would be to provide a few more sponges and a few extra towels. Otherwise, it was a wonderful home away from home!

Beautiful & cozy home, both inside & outside. Tons of space for our group of 6 adults and 3 kids. We loved every corner of this property, from the decorated office to the comfy screened-in porch to the bonus apartment suite. Location is conveniently located in close proximity to downtown Ithaca and many state parks. We could not have asked for a better rental for our family gathering, and will definitely book again for future trips to the area.

We rented Anne’s house during our wedding weekend. It was beautiful and full of Victorian charm! Our dogs loved to sit with us for morning coffee and afternoon hang outs on the enclosed porch and our friends enjoyed using the yard games during our down time at the house. The large dining table was the perfect size for us all to sit and eat. Overall, we felt so comfortable here and look forward to being able to return for our anniversary!

This listing felt like a second home in a place I had never been. It was my first time in New York, and this listing made me feel a sense of belonging; connected even though it was my first time. Eleanor was very nice, her home was absolutely charming, and it was the perfect place for my family and I to recharge. Would absolutely stay here again when I visit the Finger Lakes region in the future!

Nice house in a peaceful location. Had everything we could need

This charming farmhouse blends modern style with rustic charm beautifully. The decor is lovely and the amenities are spot-on. Comfortable beds and pillows, enough fans and window AC units to keep us city folk cool! We did have a few extra visitors during our stay—mice, which I guess could be par for the course in a farmhouse setting near corn fields! The hosts were quick to respond and took care of the situation promptly. Overall, if you appreciate a stylish, cozy retreat, this place is a great pick! (Just don't bring salt and vinegar chips, never would have guessed a mouse would pick those !)

The farmhouse is very charming and comfortable. The sunporch became a favorite spot for both a morning cup of coffee and an evening glass of wine. House was very clean. Beds were comfy and the window A/C kept up during a week of record-breaking heat. Eleanor was a wonderful host. Incredibly responsive. She even had a washer/dryer installed at the beginning of our extended stay which made everything so much easier! We would definitely recommend!!

Beautiful home in the perfect location if you’re looking to tour the vineyards and breweries on both sides of Cayuga and Seneca lakes. Home was so cute and just as pictured and we’d definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at the farm house. We were able to easily find the farm and check in. We were able to park in the garage and felt very safe. Eleanor was quick to answer questions and we had no issues at all. We absolutely loved how peaceful and beautiful it was and especially loved the stars!! There were very comfortable beds and a perfect warm shower. The kitchen was perfect for us and had all the amenities. There were many fun games and a tv set up to watch online shows. There was even a fantastic washer and dryer! Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us and letting us feel very at home!

Such a cute Airbnb. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and the like. We loved having coffee on the porch or patio every morning. The location was ideal to access all that the finger lakes had to offer. The hosts were also very responsive when we had concerns

We loved our stay at Eleanor's farmhouse!! Its very cute charming. The central areas, kitchen, dining and living room are spacious and comfortable. The location was ideal for us, with our event at Sampson State Park, a 7 min drive away!! We both said we would definitely stay there again!!!

Everything about the place was as expected. We felt very at home and comfortable there. The location is about 10 minutes from the main wine trails but there are a few vineyards closer to the house as well. We didn’t get to visit them as they were closed for the holidays. There aren’t a ton of great restaurants around so I would make use of the fully stocked kitchen and cook. There’s a wegmans about 10 Minutes away with everything you’d need and a great prepared food are. Host was responsive but we didn’t need to contact her much. The fireplace in the living room was a nice cozy touch and we enjoyed it every day.

Awesome place. Way bigger in person than you would think. Big layout, great outdoor space, private, great amenities. Not a bad thing to say. Would recommend to anyone and go back again. Thanks Carrie!

This place was perfect for my family of 7 adults. The dogs were welcomed as well. Plenty of beds and beautiful surroundings. Had a wonderful time. Carrie was easy to work with and responsive with emails. We come back again.

We had a great time, the lodge was clean, spacious and gave the perfect mountain vacation. I would recommend it anytime and would stay again. The host was great as well.

The house was in a good location. I had read reviews of the house being dirty and stains being on sheets so I reached out to her about this prior we had a full house coming and I did not want to disappoint. She did respond saying that the problem was resolved. The bedding was nice and clean however it was apparent that the cleaning service being used is only doing basic cleaning. The bathrooms were filthy, there were stains on all the walls, cobwebs, extremely dusty home decor and the windows were so cloudy I wanted to windex them myself. I know it's in an area where there's bugs and spiders but I had a huge spider run across my arm in the upstairs bedroom while I was laying there trying to figure out why the wifi would not work on the tv( I never did get it to work). I never found that spider so that terrified me the rest of the stay. There was a huge spider in the downstairs shower that we were able to set free. Two of the tvs wifi never worked. Sauna and jacuzzi were great!

Second time staying here & it’s still one of my favorite air bnbs! I want to live in this house lol. Always our first choice for pigeon forge!!!

Such a wonderful stay! Two adults and 4 teenagers, and everyone was happy. Plenty to do inside the home, to include darts, pool, air hockey, ping pong, board games, plenty of TVs, comfortable couches and beds...I could go on and on. When I wasn't in the hot tub or the sauna, my next favorite place was the screened-in balcony on the second level. The views and sounds (or lack of) were the absolute perfect way to begin and end each day. Pigeon Forge was about a 15-minute drive, and there were plenty of options for food/entertainment for the entire family. Carrie and Anne were very responsive and very friendly. I would absolutely stay again!

Anne's place was wonderful for our group. We all had plenty of room to spread out and the giant dining table and living room furniture were great when we all wanted to be together. We also appreciated the beautiful view and porch to drink our morning coffee, and fire pit to enjoy every evening. Having the extra apartment over the garage was perfect for me (the chaperone) so I could have a little bit of separation from my group and privacy. It was a fantastic trip!

Anne's house was perfect for our use case of a working retreat. There were plenty of bedrooms and separate areas, and hooking up to the main TV through an HDMI cable was easy for presentations. The internet worked well, and the kitchen was generally well-stocked, albeit with the typical confusing organizational system of a rental. It was bitterly cold while we were there, so we spent much of our time inside. The home was cozy, and the beds were comfortable. This house has some evidence of being a rental in terms of needed maintenance (a potentially dangerous broken floor vent under the kitchen table, for example). Still, it was excellent in terms of value for the money. I will echo previous reviews stating that the water's sulfur odor renders it unusable for drinking/cooking. The general store down the driveway had bottled water gallons, which we relied on, but a mini carboy could be filled at a grocery store. Having a starter water supply when we arrived would have been nice.

Anne’s house was perfect for our family vacation. Plenty of room for the 16 of us, including children aged 16 to 2. Anne was very responsive before, during and after our visit. Our son left something behind and she was very helpful getting it returned. The only disappointment was the water wasn’t as swimmable as we hoped; but we enjoyed the kayaks and canoe.

Great house for a guys college reunion. Plenty of dining space for 15 people. Nice screened in porch. Lots of bathrooms, especially important for a group of 70 somethings. Kitchen well equipped with a great utility sink for cleaning oysters. Hostess Anne prompt communicator. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Our house was perfect for our trip. We were in the area for our daughter’s wedding, and it was better than trying to get hotel rooms for 16 people. There were other wedding guest who stayed in houses but none of them had as great experience as we had. Anne was very responsive and helpful to make sure our stay was problem-free. We will definitely stay there again if in the area again.

A perfect retreat for our annual Friendsgiving trip! The house had just what our group of 14 needed - large gathering places for all of us to make new memories together yet separate spaces for us to relax and unwind. The kitchen was well stocked for the big dinner, and the toiletries, linens, and household supplies being provided was so helpful and convenient! The backyard does turn into a marsh, but that was also part of the fun for our group. There is plenty of yard that stays dry for any yard games you may want to bring and play. Many in our group also enjoyed the cheesesteaks and fries from the general store that was just a walk away. Anne was very responsive and helpful making this an easy trip!

This was our second time staying at Anne’s place, and it was perfect for our large group once again. The fact that 14 people can all share a meal around a table is such a gift. The beds were comfortable, and the house had all that we needed for an enjoyable stay. I do agree with the reviewer who mentioned that the water smelled like sulfur. We did not want to drink it, and there wasn’t a working filter in the refrigerator, so we killed the environment a bit with our excessive amount of plastic water bottles. Fortunately there is a market very close by.

Charming, clean, and comfortable stay! Anne’s place is in a beautiful location and it is very peaceful. She was very responsive and instructions were very clear. I will definitely visit again in the summer time.

The cottage was exactly what we were hoping for - away from the main hustle/touristy areas but close enough to make a short drive to find a nice restaurant or activity to occupy our older teens. They enjoyed fishing the pond and building a little campfire out back to roast some s’mores! You can also appreciate the nostalgia of the home and imagine the days it was without the basic amenities that have been added to bring it new life.

Such a lovely cottage with plenty of room to roam around. We absolutely loved our stay here. It had rained prior to our stay, so the pond was too murky to fish out of, so I have no comments about that. If you are looking for a relaxing get away, this is perfect. Very close to everything we wanted to see in the area. About 20-25 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Very easy to get anywhere from here.

Loved the place. My kids loved the fishing. Brought the dog and he loved playing in the yard. Location is close to Pigion Forge and Gatlinburg; which makes it a breeze heading into either town, but peaceful and private enough that you could kick back and relax after a long day in either town. Definitely want to come back.

If you are on the fence with renting this house, I say do it! It has a beautiful view of the pond and field beside the house. Our pup loved the freedom that he doesn’t get at home. The creek was his favorite. We fished, lounged around the house and took walks on the property. To make the trip even better it was close to Pigeon Forge. We plan on making this our yearly vacation home. It has everything we need. Anne was quick to respond and nice when we had a question. I would highly recommend this place for your vacation.

We loved it here. Our 3 boys had so much to do from playing in the creek, fishing and paddleboating. The place is better than the pictures and so peaceful and private. The inside is cozy and very well taken care of with great decor. The outside and property is just perfect for dogs, boys and kids at heart. It's exactly what we needed and love from a vacation. We saw so many amazing things and wildlife and had great hikes. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful grounds and a great location far enough away, but close enough to the parkway that you could get to attractions. Enjoyed sitting by the pond and the creek. Very comfortable beds and a great place to relax for a getaway weekend.

this place was everything we expected and then some, there were tons of turkey and a bear came through the back yard while we were outside by the fire. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone who is looking for a great getaway. We had amazing hosts and an incredible place to stay. We would definitely love to come back and probably will.

Anne’s place and property was absolutely stunning! Two creeks, a pond and an adorable cottage with lots of room to explore outside with the highlight of our trip! We saw two turkeys each day and then the morning we were leaving we saw a whole flock of turkeys coming from the back of the property near the old barn. Pigeon Forge very close, but we just drove through as we were not into all the hustle and bustle and commercial aspect of it. If you get a chance to visit CadesCove in the Smoky Mountains national Forest, that was an experience! The king bed was so comfortable! It was very cold and didn’t seem to get warm enough for us so the two space heaters in the king bedroom helped a lot! Shower pipes a bit noisy, but that added to the charm of the house. kitchen very functional. cozy fireplace! I left behind my iPad and laptop bag Anne said the cleaning lady will FedEx to me. What a blessing! Great stay- you won’t be disappointed. I would definitely go back.

Beautiful, peaceful location, far enough off the beaten track to be relaxed, but within very easy reach of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, Dollywood, etc. House is very well equipped and spacious. Beds are very comfortable. Fast and stable WiFi. Worth noting that there are two doors into the bathroom: one from the main part of the house; one from one of the bedrooms. The grounds are beautiful - lovely to breakfast outside, etc. Several wild turkeys spotted in the garden. We arrived late at night and Google Maps led us astray - the entrance to the property is just around a bend in the road, easily visible in daylight (marked by posts etc.), but Google Maps put the property entrance as being further up the road; a minor point to take into account when you first get to the property. Highly recommended - we (party of 2 adults and 1 teenager) had a great stay

The cottage was cozy & wonderful! We appreciated the hanging lights out front & easy entry at night. The inside was clean & cool, with warm & comfy beds! Charming fireplace & decor. Nice kitchen & dining table. Everything was functional & there was plenty of towels, blankets & pillows. We loved the peaceful surroundings & sounds. I enjoyed hearing the creek while falling asleep at night, the front porch swing & wildlife in the morning. The boys explored the barn & caught several fish! They used worms from Walmart. The fish bit every time. Loved the tree swing. Our dog enjoyed the space to run & explore as well! It was close enough to town but far enough to be secluded. Conveniently located near pigeon forge & gatlinburg. There’s a gas station going towards the Parkway at the end of the road. We tried Wild Bear Tavern nearby too & it was delicious. Overall a memorable stay for us & I highly recommend!
