Anna Maria Island duplex located in the Holmes Beach area. The side being rented sleeps 10, has its own private pool, is 3 blocks from beach access, 1 block from the free trolley stop & 1 block to Holmes Beach town center's restaurants, shopping & bars.
The space
THE HOME: Side B of an Anna Maria Island duplex is 3 blocks from the beach. Side B is the poolside and comes with EXCLUSIVE use of the pool & pool area. The unit is 1325sf with/ 3 bedrooms (sleeps 10) & 2 baths. Queen bedroom 1 has a master bath. Queen bedroom 2 has a view and direct access to the rear patio. Bedroom 3 has both a full & a twin bunk, and literally sleeps 6. This room is perfect as a whole family or kids' bedroom. All rooms are nicely furnished. Beds are made with/ fresh linens & towels are provided once per stay. Each bedroom has a 32" TV. The living room has a 50" Smart TV with/ Netflix already being streamed. All bedroom TVs have Roku and stream Spectrum cable. There is a WIFI, a portable DVD player, and a Bluetooth speaker. The kitchen is stocked with/ cookware, dishware, utensils, a coffee maker, toaster & blender. There is starter coffee & salt/pepper. The great room has ample seating for dining. There is a laundry room.
THE POOL
The pool area is fenced for privacy. The pool is solar-heated with/ a back-up heat pump for the cooler winter months. There is ample outdoor seating, a Weber gas grill & an outdoor shower. The pool shed has coolers, extra seating, beach chairs, beach toys & various pool toys for your use. There is also a rear patio with/ seating.
PARKING
There are 3 parking/driveway spaces in front of the home for your use.
Guest access
Guests have access to virtually everything, but 2 closets & the rear shed. Front door access is via a key code that will be provided once payment is made.

June-13 2024We rented both sides of the duplex and shared the whole home with another family. This was a perfect set up—we all found private spaces (3 well-appointed outdoor patios and numerous sitting areas,) while enjoying the spacious pool area together. Both kitchens are well-stocked with all the basics to cook and entertain at home. The kids appreciated the generously stocked pool shed! Carrie communicated well, was helpful and thoughtful, and made our stay comfortable and effortless. When the previous tenants had left some damage, she was proactive to let us know and had replacement items shipped overnight so we weren’t inconvenienced in the least. Note that the pool side of the home is adjacent to Gulf Drive which is a busy road, but we did not notice any road noise inside, and the privacy fence blocked sound and sight well, so the road was not a problem, even sitting out by the pool. Overall, we would highly recommend Carrie’s place.

September-14 2023Carrie and her husband were outstanding! We were to arrive the day after a hurricane blew through. We couldn’t arrive the day we were supposed to due to the island being under a mandatory evacuation order. She was great to adjust our rate. The house was clean and the outdoor space in outstanding condition even though the storm had just blown through. Beds were comfy, has washer and dryer, televisions in bedrooms and living room and everything needed for a great vacation. We really enjoyed the private pool. Trolley stop is just a few feet away from the house. The only negative is that it is on the busy main road. Not a big deal as we just got used to it pretty quickly. We will certainly be back!

July-11 2024Carrie’s place was so great, exactly as pictured. The pool is the icing on the cake - such a great place to relax after long days of beach and exploring. AMI has some great restaurants but with a family as large as ours, we ate most of our meals at home - the grill was great and the kitchen is fully equipped with literally everything you would need. The house was clean, nicely decorated and had plenty of space for our family of 7. Our 5 opinionated teenagers LOVED the house and have already asked if we are going back next year! Easy walk to the beach, easy to drive all around the island. 10/10 would recommend!

Beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels and the kitchen was furnished with many extras. ( wish we would have checked supplies before we went grocery shopping.). The home is close to the beach and shopping. We loved the pool and private yard. The house is on the main road, but wasn’t an issue for us. Hope to come back to this home again.

It has an outdoor shower. You can easily walk to the beach or to Manatee Public Beach, which is not far away by car or free bus. The contact with Carrie was also great, she responds quickly and is helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much and would always choose this house again.

It was clean, beds slept great, nicely decorated, stocked with everything you could want or need for the pool and beach, and it was just a quick walk or drive to the beach depending on where you wanted to access it. The host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and made check-in super easy. The location was perfect: close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The private pool was fantastic. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space, which made it feel like home. Fresh linens/towels, comfortable bedding and so many amenities. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Anna Maria Island, Holmes Beach area!
